Happiness and Sadness ( by Poet Saran)

There are moments of intense sadness,

Of bawling your eyes out,

Wet paper below your hands,

Scribbles of hatred and disenchantment,

Staring into the sky, isolated and ostracised.

Every muscle hurting to move,

Every movement calling out for death,

The quietness all around you but endless voices in your head,

The atmosphere of desperation and despair,

Of hatefulness and regret,

The singularity of a big xxxk you.

But there are also moments of intense happiness, The sun shining brightly down on you,

The moon glowing in the darkness,

The wind grazing by your skin,

The shadows of movement and progress,

Platonic loves of gesture and admiration,

The warmth and contentment behind a laughter, The elation of a kinder mind and blissful quietness.

There will be moments of both,

Co-existing together,

Taking turns at times,

Looping in oppositional forces,

Of yin and yang,

Of waves and lulls,

Of stillness and being,

the totality of you.
