The purpose for Pak is achieved......The affected country, their people and their forces -- all would be unduly burdened and their national and original focus shattered.
On their own, every country is suffering many diversions to their national focus, many of them domestic in nature. The terrorists are creating extra diversions.
Countries are no different from individuals. If your neighbour is jealous of you, he will start creating some kind of "diversion" for you.
Each longs to see the other's downfall or at least fallback.
