We shall continue with our enquiry into tharuNam etc., We now look into a related word.

இதை சம்+தர்ப்பம் என்று பிரிப்போம்.

சம் என்ற முன்னொட்டு இருக்கட்டும்.

தர்ப்பம் என்பது உண்மையில் தருப்பம் என்பதன் திரிபே. தரு>தருதல்; தரு > தருப்பு> தருப்பம் > தர்ப்பம்.

அதாவது: தரு +பு + அம்.

இப்போது, தருணம் என்பதில் உள்ள  "தருதல்"  கருத்துடன் ஒப்பு நோக்கவேண்டும். தொடர்பு புரியும்.

மாற்றுவிளக்கங்கள் ஒருபால் நிற்கட்டும்.
