முன்னிருப்ப தொருநச்சுச் செடியாம்
முனைந்துவரும் தேனீயும் அறிந்தே
எண்ணரிய நறுமணமே பரப்பும்
எழில்மலரைத் தான் நாடி அமரும்!
அஞ்சிறையின் கொங்கலர்தேர் தேனீ
அதுதன்னை ஏமாற்றும் வித்தை
தன் சிறைக்குள் தான்கிடக்கும் மாந்தன்
தாரணியில் கண்டறிந்த துண்டோ?
